Jesse Bunnell continued the AW Motorsports domination of the Southwest Double-Header, winning the Vegas 100. Bunnell controlled the final 38 laps en route to his first win since Eldora in the inaugural Fall 2020 season. It was his second career ASL Elite Series victory and first on a paved surface.
Bunnell fended off challenges from several drivers at the front, including Jeff Hollingsworth, Patrick Desaulnier and Trent Ringler. Ultimately, none of them were able to get around Bunnell, who masterfully controlled the draft from the dominant low lane at Las Vegas.
Ringler, Hollingsworth, Desaulnier and Mark Jenkins rounded out the Top 5. The Elite Series heads to Martinsville Speedway for its second crown jewel race of the season next week.
