ASL Throws Back to 1987 for The ASL Clash at Daytona

American SimRacing League will be kicking off 2022 with a retro vibe as it sanctions its first race with the 1987 NASCAR Cup Series stock cars. On January 2, 2022, the drivers of the ASL Elite Series will compete for a $50 grand prize on the bumpy high banks of the circa-2011 Daytona International Speedway.

The event kicks off with a 20-lap qualifying race at 8:30 pm ET, open to all returning drivers who have never before won a pole in the Elite Series.

The Clash will immediately follow and will feature a 16-car field consisting of prior pole winners and transfers from the qualifying race.

Trackside E-Sports will be broadcasting the event live on YouTube and Facebook Live. Additional information on the event can be found here.
