Kyle Bromir edged out Charlie Woods to the line by less than 0.01 seconds for his first career victory at Talladega Superspeedway. Bromir, Woods and Todd Cray were the only three trucks remaining on the lead lap after two massive “big ones” left no truck unscathed.
The first wreck was triggered on Lap 32 when Hunter Waters made contact with Mark Jenkins near the front of the field, collecting over 20 trucks in the melee. The second wreck occurred when Patrick Desaunier’s bump draft sent Cray down the track, damaging most of the remaining trucks that had survived to that point.
The ASL Elite Series returns for its third race of the season at Pocono on January 30.
