Trent Ringler won his 12th race in ASL Elite Series completion, and his first of the season, at Pocono Raceway. Ringler assumed the lead with 10 laps remaining in the scheduled 80 lap distance, and managed the final two restarts well to pull ahead by a somewhat comfortable distance in the final laps.
Ringler and runner-up Justin Gann were fixtures at the front of the pack all evening. Gann ended up trailing Ringler to the line by 0.864 seconds, with Steve Yenisch, Thomas McBride and Johnny Avila completing the Top 5.
After a 3 week break, the Elite Series returns on the night of the real-world Daytona 500, February 20 for the much anticipated Bristol double-header, which will feature sprint races at the historic concrete surface and new dirt track.
