Steve Yenisch Snags Fourth Win at Dover

Steve Yenisch won his fourth race of the season, and second back-to-back win of the season at Dover Motor Speedway. Yenisch stretched his fuel in the final stage, making it an impressive 99 laps on the final tank of fuel.

Jeff Yenisch charged from 11th to first in the first 50 laps, winning the stage. Unfortunately, a pit miscue during the stage break caution put him at the back of the field, and he failed to recover, finishing 14th.

Bentley Glaser led a race-high 86 laps, however the pit strategy in the final stage did him in. After pitting from the lead for fresh rubber and fuel, he was unable to track down the leaders that stayed out, ultimately finishing fourth, with Todd Cray finishing fifth on the same strategy. Adam Matz and Duane Hunt stayed out and finished second and third respectively.

Watkins Glen is up next on the schedule on Sunday, 8/28.
