We will continue with the new race schedule – be sure to be in the server by 8:00 pm Eastern to race!
The race server will be in the “League Sessions” area of iRacing. You will not need a password to enter as a registered driver in the league. Entry to the server will be first come, first serve. The server this week allows for 43 maximum entries.
We ask all drivers to be in the Discord server before Qualifying begins. Trackside Racing Network may pull in drivers for interviews under yellow flag or after the race. Most importantly, the top three finishers will be interviewed immediately after the race.
iRacing will be releasing a new version of Phoenix Raceway on Wednesday, 10/27. We will be using this version for the race.
Retroactively, we have implemented a system to allow drivers to clear penalty strikes from their record. When four consecutive races are completed without an at-fault incident, one strike is removed from the total. On the Penalties page, look for your total number of active strikes to see where you stand.
Penalty strikes will carry over into the Playoffs! Be aware that an at-fault incident at Phoenix will result in penalties to be served in the first round, potentially including suspensions.
We will be using a stricter restart zone than iRacing enforces in sim. The pace car drops in Turn 2, which means the leader must maintain pace speed, without the pace car on track, for a much longer distance than usual. The leader must wait until reaching the Geico signage in Turn 4 before accelerating.

Penalties from previous race:
Lap 38 – #19 and #51 made contact while 4-wide entering Turn 3. No driver was held at fault, due to the circumstances preceding the wreck, and the fact that both drivers had to adjust their lines to accomodate drivers to the inside and outside that were evading the slowing traffic ahead. No penalties assessed.
Lap 50 – PROTEST RECEIVED. #82 made contact with the left rear of #63 while changing lanes, resulting in an accident. #82 is at fault; since it’s his second at-fault incident of the season, he will start the next race from the pits. APPEAL RECEIVED, Appeals board upheld ruling.
Drivers may anonymously protest drivers for additional incidents, which do not bring out a caution, within 24 hours of an event. The protest form is located under the League Info Menu on the website.
Drivers who do not agree with an admin board penalty ruling may protest to the Appeals Board. The protest form is located under the League Info Menu on the website.
